Light to live by
Inspired by classic mid-century French and Scandinavian designs, this beautiful floor lamp is equal parts sculptural and functional. The Freccia Floor lamp is a striking piece that fits into any decor while providing a beautiful ambient light source. Designed to evoke natural forms, the handmade all-hardwood construction is both beautiful and resilient. The vintage-inspired cloth-covered power cords add a pop of color and can be easily switched for a change of pace. The included smart bulb works as a normal lightbulb but also adds 21st century control over light and color directly from your smartphone.
Timeless design
The name "Freccia" is Italian for "arrow" - the main spine of the lamp looking somewhat like an arrow stuck into the ground. The lamp cord evokes a bowstring notched into the arrow, and together the legs form a shape that looks like a bow folded in half. Each Freccia Floor Lamp is made by hand out of select solid hardwoods and with proper care will last indefinitely.
Handmade from fine hardwoods
Each lamp is made in Texas, one-at-a-time from fine hardwoods like maple, cherry, and walnut. No laminates, no veneers, no shortcuts. Each lamp has a unique character and classic look that will complement your home design while making a statement of its own.
Easy to assemble
Freccia Floor Lamps break down into four component parts for easy shipping and portability. The main spine and leg extension go together with two included bolts. Then each leg attaches to the main spine with a single bolt. You can fully assemble a Freccia Floor Lamp in just a few minutes.
Smart and colorful
The included LIFX wi-fi enabled smart bulb turns your Freccia Floor Lamp into a fully-dimmable and color-capable lamp. Control everything easily from the LIFX app. No need for a hub - LIFX bulbs connect directly to your wi-fi network in one easy step.
Meet the Maker
I've been making furniture to furnish my own house for over 20 years. It all started with a simple problem - I couldn't afford to buy the kind of furniture I wanted. I've built beds, desks, stereo racks, lamps, tables, bookshelves and more. Taking inspiration from Isamu Noguchi, George Nakashima, Eames and more - I build my own versions of classic mid-century pieces.
